New myeloma genetics study findings have been published by scientists at Mayo Clinic, Department of Hematology-Oncology

Fresh data on myeloma are presented in the report 'International Myeloma Working Group molecular classification of multiple myeloma: spotlight review.' According to recent research from the United States, "Myeloma is a malignant proliferation of monoclonal plasma cells. Although morphologically similar, several subtypes of the disease have been identified at the genetic and molecular level."
