"To overcome this obstacle, we established the practice of islet and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) coculture. This coculture condition improved the ATP (adenosine-5'-triphosphate)/ADP (adenosine-5'-diphosphate) ratio and insulin secretory function in vitro.
