New infarction therapy study findings have been reported by scientists at Seoul National University, Department of Epidemiology

Data detailed in 'Reasonable duration of Clopidogrel use after drug-eluting stent implantation in Korean patients' have been presented. According to recent research from Seoul, Korea, "Current guidelines recommend that clopidogrel be given to patients for 12 months after drug-eluting stent (DES) implantation. However, the evidence is insufficient to support the benefit of long-term clopidogrel therapy, especially in Asian patients."
