Reports outline microtubule-associated proteins study results from I-Shou University, Department of Neurosurgery

New investigation results, 'Tau proteins in serum predict outcome after severe traumatic brain injury,' are detailed in a study published in Journal of Surgical Research. "The identification of reliable outcome predictors after traumatic brain injury (TBI) is crucial. The objective of our study was to investigate the role of tau protein as a serum marker of TBI," researchers in Kaohsiung, Taiwan report.
