Research findings, 'Triple-lumen peripherally inserted central catheter in patients in the critical care unit: prospective evaluation,' are discussed in a new report. In this recent report, researchers in the United States conducted a study "To prospectively evaluate outcomes associated with use of a triple-lumen (TL) peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) in the intensive care unit (ICU) setting. Patients were prospectively enrolled in this HIPAA-compliant, institutional review board-approved study."
