2011 FEB 10 -- According to recent research published in the journal Blood Purification, "We investigated the body composition and nutritional status of extremely long-term (more than 30 years) hemodialysis patients. Eighty outpatients receiving maintenance hemodialysis (including 18 for more than 30 years) were enrolled."
