Study Results from Z.X. Li et al Provide New Insights into Biomedical Engineering

2011 FEB 24 -- According to recent research published in the International Journal for Numerical Methods in Biomedical Engineering, "In order to improve the precision of electrical grounding system simulations, we have developed a new application based on the 1D Galerkin boundary element method using linear basis functions."

"The calculations described here can be used to simulate and analyze complex structures located anywhere within a multi-layer earth model. We introduce a quasi-static complex image method implemented by the matrix pencil approach, which results in a closed-form for Green's function," wrote Z.X. Li and colleagues.
