Borgess Medical Center Selects Impulse Monitoring for Comprehensive IONM Services

2011 JUL 14 -- Impulse Monitoring, Inc. (IMI), a leading provider of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) services to hospitals, announced that it has signed an agreement with Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo, MI. IMI will provide Borgess with comprehensive IONM services featuring real-time professional oversight by experienced physicians. IONM assesses neurological function involving the brain, spinal cord and related nerve structures during such surgeries. Use of IONM facilitates the surgical process and can reduce surgical risk by providing alerts to surgeons of potential harm to the spinal cord or neural structures.
