Investigators at Capital Medical University Release New Data on Ethics

2011 NOV 24 -- According to the authors of a study from Beijing, People's Republic of China, "During the past few years, an increasing amount of attention has been paid to living related-donor kidney transplantation (LRDKT) in China."

"We established a Medical Ethics Committee at Beijing Friendship Hospital to address the ethical concerns of LRDKT, thereby improving the process. The committee is devoted to conducting ethical medical reviews on donor information such as age, health condition, and the donor-recipient relationship," wrote F.F. Sun and colleagues, Capital Medical University.
