Investigators at Institute for Cancer Research & Treatment Release New Data on Anemia

2012 FEB 2 -- Data detailed in "A predictive model to reduce allogenic transfusions in primary total hip arthroplasty" have been presented. According to the authors of recent research from Milan, Italy, "An efficient Blood Conservation Program (BCP) should be considered in preparation of the surgical patient transfusion requirement. BCP should account for the association between bleeding reduction and anemia during or post surgery."
