New Biomedical Engineering Study Findings Have Been Reported by Scientists at Johns Hopkins University

2012 FEB 2 -- Researchers detail in "A (heat) shock to the system promotes peripheral nerve regeneration," new data in Biomedical Engineering. According to the authors of recent research from Baltimore, Maryland, "Peripheral nerves are easily damaged, resulting in loss of motor and sensory function. Recovery of motor and sensory function after peripheral nerve injury is suboptimal, even after appropriate surgical repair."
