New Sepsis Study Findings Reported from Cumhuriyet University

2012 FEB 9 -- In this recent article published in the journal Gastroenterology Research and Practice, scientists in Sivas, Turkey conducted a study "To investigate the effects of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) and H-2 receptor antagonists on ileum motility in rats with peritonitis and compare changes with control group rats. Peritonitis was induced by cecal ligation and puncture in 8 rats."
