National Yang Ming University Reports Research in Ischemia

2012 MAR 15 -- Current study results from the report, "Effects of hyperbaric oxygenation on oxidative stress in acute transient focal cerebral ischemic rats," have been published. "The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of hyperbaric oxygenation (HBO) after brain ischemia. Middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) procedure was used to induce the brain ischemia," scientists writing in the European Journal of Applied Physiology report.
