Chinese University of Hong Kong, Department of Surgery Details Research in Apoptosis

2011 MAR 14 -- Research findings, 'ZBP-89 enhances Bak expression and causes apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma cells,' are discussed in a new report. "ZBP-89 can enhance tumor cells to death stimuli. However, the molecular mechanism leading to the inhibitory effect of ZBP-89 is unknown," scientists writing in the journal Biochimica Et Biophysica Acta report.
