Estrogen Replacement Therapy in Women with History of Cancer

Recent focus on breast cancer is contributing to effective early detection and treatment programs; as a result, more and younger women with breast cancer will approach menopause and require long-term health planning.

Menopause is characterized by declining estrogen production and places women at increased risk for heart disease, vasomotor instability and osteoporosis.
