Docetaxel Demonstrates High Activity Levels in Patients

Docetaxel has demonstrated one of the highest antitumor activities ever reported (56 percent) in advanced breast cancer patients resistant to either doxorubicin or mitoxantrone, researchers report.

The results of a Phase II trial was presented by researchers from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), held May 22, 1995, in Los Angeles, California.
