"Coping With HIV Infection - Do Men and Women Differ?."

According to an abstract submitted by the author to the 20th Annual Congress of the Oncology Nursing Society, held April 26-29, 1995, in Anaheim, California, "HIV seropositive persons must cope with HIV infection an average of 10 years before developing AIDS. Coping strategies influence mood, distress, and hope among gay men with HIV/AIDS (Namir et al, 1987; Wolf et al., 1991).
