Effort Launched To Educate Women about Saline Alternative

An outreach effort was announced by leading cancer community service organizations and private industry to educate women about opportunities to participate in clinical studies of saline breast implants.

The American Cancer Society, Y-ME, the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations (NABCO), the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship and the Susan G. Komen Foundation are involved in educating breast cancer patients requiring a mastectomy about their option to participate in the saline breast implant clinical studies before the enrollment period concludes in September 1995.
