Theradigm Technology as AIDS Treatment To Be Developed

Cytel Corporation, San Diego, California, announced that it has been awarded a Strategic Programs for Innovative Research on AIDS Treatment (SPIRAT) grant from the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) to conduct research on the development of its Theradigm technology as a peptide-based immunotherapeutic vaccine for HIV-1 infection.

The SPIRAT grant, totaling $3.3 million over a four year period, is awarded by the NIH through the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
