"Globoside Expression in Acute Myeloid Leukemia: Implications for Parvovirus B19 Pathogenesis."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to joint meetings of the Midwestern and Eastern regions of the American Federation for Clinical Research, to be held September 28-30, 1995 and October 28, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois and Boston Massachusetts, "Parvovirus B19 may be associated with anemia, thrombocytopenia, granulocytopenia and aplastic anemia. The receptor for B19 was recently identified as the glycosphingolipid (GSL) globoside (Gb4).
