Hepatitis C Trial Results with Natural Alpha Interferon Announced

Interferon Sciences, Inc., New Brunswick, New Jersey, announced preliminary results from two Phase II clinical trials utilizing the company's injectable, natural-source, multispecies alpha interferon ("Natural Alpha Interferon") in patients chronically infected with hepatitis C virus. These results were presented by Dr. D.M. Simon of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and Dr. S.C. Gordon of William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan, on November 4-5, 1995, at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, held in Chicago, Illinois.
