Payment Received for Regulatory Approval of Crinone in France

Columbia Laboratories, Inc., Miami, Florida, announced the company received an additional $1.5 million milestone payment from Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories as a result of the approval of Crinone by French regulatory authorities for the product's use in in vitro fertilization procedures.

Further indications [e.g. the prevention of hyperplasia and endometrial cancer in postmenopausal women receiving Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) etc.] in France are anticipated during 1996.
