"Immune Response to CEA: Lessons from an Animal Model."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Falk Symposium Molecular Diagnosis and Gene Therapy, held October 22-23, 1995, in Basel, Switzerland, "Tumor antigens have been described for several tumors and are used now as tools for active immunization using e.g. peptides. Many tumors however are still not accessible for immunization protocols. There are tumor associated antigens, which are only expressed early in the development and are later re-expressed on tumor cells. They may be additional targets for a therapy.
