"Human Lymphocyte Responses to Autologous B7+ Tumour Cells In Vitro."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 87th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research, held April 20-24, 1996, in Washington, D.C., "Transfection of the costimulatory molecule B7-1 into murine tumours can increase antitumor immunity and eradicate tumour growth. The purpose of this study was to transduce freshly resected human cancers by infection with an adenovirus-B7 (Ad-B7) expression vector and test autologous lymphocyte responses against these B7+ cancer cells in vitro.
