Foundation Offers Educational Services to Healthcare Professionals

The Solid Tumor Oncology Education Foundation, Secaucus, New Jersey, has announced that it offers free educational programs to community-based oncologists and other healthcare professionals, beginning September 1996.

"We have identified a serious need among oncologists for readily available, timely information essential to the effective diagnosis and treatment of cancer," said Paul A. Bunn Jr., M.D., University of Colorado Cancer Center in Denver. "Our new programs are designed to improve and expand access to the latest information, and to encourage dialog between clinical researchers and practicing oncologists."
