Three new drugs have been made available under the expansion announced: Nevirapine, a class of drugs that fight viruses that are mutated by other anti-viral medications; Cidofovir for treating the potentially blinding condition retinitis, and Liposomol duanorubicin for treatment of AIDS related cancers.
Another 121 drugs have been scheduled for restoration to the eligible list, including antibiotics for treating bacterial infections, psychotropics for treating HIV related...
