Favorable CellScan Results Diagnosing Cancer Announced

Published in Cancer Weekly, November 4th, 1996

Medis El Ltd., Jerusalem, Israel, announced that a published paper reported on the use of the CellScan for the detection of breast cancer.

The paper was published by a team of doctors from the Tel Aviv University Hospital, Israel, in the September 1996 issue of the European Journal of Cancer entitled "Adaption of the CellScan Technique for the SCM Test in Breast Cancer." Participating in the study were 216 subjects; 143 were women with palpable breast masses, 80 of whom were later found to have breast cancer; and 73 were controls.
