The results of the trials were presented at the 82nd Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), held in Chicago, Illinois, December 1-5, 1996. The study showed sestamibi breast imaging may be a useful adjunctive tool for diagnosing breast cancer in difficult-to-image patients and patients with inconclusive mammograms.
