Clinical Study Focuses on Education Through Beauticians

Results of a pilot study and plans for the first three-year clinical study program, working through African-American beauticians in San Diego, California, was the topic of discussion at a U.S. Public Health meeting, "Bridging the Gap: Enhancing Partnerships To Improve Minority Women's Health."

The discussion was led by Georgia Robins Sadler, Ph.D, University of California San Diego (UCSD) Cancer Center, who received a $300,000 grant by Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, Inc. to complete the study.
