Immunocyt Sensitivity Confirmed In Detecting Cancer

ImmunoCyt 1 achieved an 85 percent rate of detection of bladder cancers during preliminary trials conducted by 12 eminent urologists. When accompanied by a cytology, the product's specificity surpassed 95 percent.

"ImmunoCyt 1 represents a major breakthrough in bladder cancer detection," said Serge Pitre, DiagnoCure Inc., Montreal, Quebec, Canada. "Our trials, conducted on a sampling of 251 different cases from various regions of Canada, demonstrate that this diagnostic test is superior to all non-invasive methods currently used in the world. It will contribute to significantly improving the chances of early detection and to facilitating patient treatment."
