TGF-Beta 3 Phase II Trials Initiated

Oncogene Science, Inc., Uniondale, New York, announced that Novartis Pharma AG, Basel, Switzerland, a collaborative partner for the development of TGF-Beta 3, has initiated multi-center Phase II clinical studies in Europe, South America, and the United States for the prevention of oral mucositis in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Approximately 300 breast cancer and lymphoma patients undergoing high-dose chemotherapy are expected to participate in the Phase II trials.
