Funding Received for Research and Development Collaboration

AltaRex Corp., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, announced the approval of $600,000 funding support from the Canada - Israel Industrial Research and Development Foundation (CIIRDF) for a joint research and development project to be undertaken with Orgenics Ltd., Israel.

The sponsored project combines the complementary technical and commercial expertise of the two companies in the development of in vitro immunoassays that can monitor the treatment progress of cancer patients from a doctor's office.
