The new process promises a quicker, easier, safer, and more effective therapy for the treatment of cancer and other diseases caused by viruses and pathogens.
In a two-step process, tumor cells removed from a patient are first modified in the laboratory with a combination of cytokines to enhance the expression of tumor antigens and immune-activating molecules needed to generate the body's immune response.
