Preventive Measures Can Reduce Death and Suffering Due to Chronic Disease

The role of non-communicable diseases in causing death and human suffering can be reduced through preventive measures to fight the growing toll from heart disease, cancer, stroke, and other conditions, according to a new report from the World Health Organization.
