Tri-Partner Protocol Enhances Vaccine Antitumor Immunity

In vivo antitumor immunity is enhanced by a protocol combining interleukin 12 (IL-12) expressing fibroblasts, costimulatory molecules expressing fibroblasts, and parental tumor cells. Researchers from the Centre Claudius Regaud, France, and the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, have enhanced the anticancer immune stimulating effect of the costimulatory molecule B7.1 by creating a three-way vaccine.
