Early Findings Demonstrate Efficacy and Safety of PSC-833 and Paclitaxel

The investigational therapy of PSC-833 combined with paclitaxel, approved for therapy after first-line or subsequent therapy in treating ovarian cancer, has been shown to be safe, tolerable, and can result in renewed paclitaxel responses in patients with paclitaxel- refractory advanced ovarian cancer.

The preliminary findings were reported by Abbie L. Fields, M.D., Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York, at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Denver, Colorado.
