Cholangiocarcinoma is a tumor that is virtually incurable. The tumor is resistant to current surgical, chemical, and radiotherapeutic interventions.
L.C. Pederson and colleagues from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, tackled this obstacle from a multimethod standpoint. Results of their research were presented at the 97th Annual Meeting of the American Gastroenterological Association, held May 11-14, 1997, in Washington, DC.
