DoD Enlists the Network Connection in Battle Against Cancer

It has killed more than 500,000 U.S. women in the last 10 years, nearly one million since 1960. That's more than twice the number of all the American lives lost in World War I, World War II, the Korean, Vietnam, and Persian Gulf Wars combined.

The Department of Defense (DoD) unveiled its new Breast Cancer Awareness and Solutions Network, an interactive training program using video server technology developed by the Network Connection Inc. (TNCi). The unique program is designed to increase awareness and promote early detection of breast cancer, which will kill almost 44,000 women in 1997.
