Advanced Device for Cancer Therapy Available at Dana-Farber Institute

Siemens Oncology Care Systems, Concord, California, has received a contract to provide the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), Boston, with a state-of-the-art medical linear accelerator, the new PRIMUS system, equipped with a Multi-Leaf Collimator (MLC).

The contract also includes SIMTEC, the innovative Siemens product that provides the only practical, verifiable means of delivering intensity modulated treatments.
