Studies Show Social Ties Can Alter Our Immune System

A social support system is one of the most effective means of reducing the impact of stress on the immune system, according to studies presented at the Annual Meeting of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI), held earlier this month in San Diego, California.
