Do Mobile Phones Pose A Health Risk?

Mobile phones may heat up your brain, interfere with heart pacemakers, and cause cancer in mice.

But there is no scientific evidence to support fears that their ever-increasing use may threaten human health, according to scientists from 10 countries who met in Vienna, Austria, recently.

The group did, however, agree to intensify research into radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (EMF), which emanate from mobile phones.

Concerns about EMF and health are now costing the United States alone some $1 billion a year, the World Health Organization (WHO) said.
