Biomira Presents Additional MUC-1 Data at Vaccine Conference

Biomira Inc., Edmonton, Canada, presented pre-clinical data on BLP25 at IBC's Fifth International Conference on Vaccine Technologies in Washington, DC. Babita Agrawal, Ph.D., Head of Immunology Research at Biomira made the presentation on BLP25, which is the company's liposomal formulation of its MUC-1 peptide vaccine for the treatment of cancer. This data provides additional support for the rationale for moving BLP25 toward commercialization.
