"Recombinant Murine IL-2 Expression in H238 Tumor Cells."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Gene Therapy of Cancer VI conference, held November 20-22, 1997, in San Diego, California, "The H238 cell line is a herpes simplex virus-Type 2 transformed murine fibrosarcoma cell. Previous studies have shown that intraperitoneal injections of low dose recombinant IL-2 in BALB/c mice had a significant effect on H238 tumor development when given between 2-3 weeks after tumor cell injection. We have recently cloned the IL-2 cDNA from the VR1110 vector into the pWS4 vector.
