"Immunolocalization and Imaging of Small Cell Cancer Xenografts by the Monoclonal Antibody 6H7."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the International Symposium on Recent Advances of Human Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapy, held February 8-10, 1998, in Sapporo, Japan, "The use of monoclonal antibody (MAb) for imaging and immunotherapy of malignant tumor is an increasingly realistic objective. We have produced a MAb, 6H7, which belonged to cluster 1 antigen of small cell carcinoma of the lung (SCCL) and recognizes one of N-CAM polypeptides. Intact 6H7 antibody was evaluated as a potential radioimmunotherapeutic agent against SCCL xenografts in a nude mouse model system.
