Ultrasound Scanning Technology Used in Patients for First Time

Longport, Inc., Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, announced that it has signed a letter of intent with Mammosource, Marlton, New Jersey, to create a joint venture.

The agreement enables Longport's scanner technology to be utilized for the first time ever, in a breast cancer environment.

The initial goal of this joint venture is to customize the healing process of post mastectomy patients providing them an opportunity to return to a normal lifestyle sooner than currently possible.

This marks the first step in the long-term commitment by Longport, Inc. to support and promote breast wellness.
