Investigational Radioimmunotherapy for Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Data Reported

Techniclone Corp., Tustin, California, reported on the status of Oncolym (131I-Lym-1) investigational radioimmunotherapy for the treatment of intermediate- and high-grade non-Hodgkin's B-cell lymphoma.

Oncolym (131I-Lym-1) is a radiolabeled murine monoclonal antibody. When the Lym-1 antibody is attached to the radioactive form of iodine-131, the result is 131I-Lym-1 or Oncolym.

In vitro studies with this antibody indicated its potential for high specificity for human lymphoma cells. It is as a result of this antibody binding potential that it was thought that the radiolabeled form of the antibody would bind to the tumor after injection and...
