R.W.D. White et al. examined tumor grade, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) ploidy, proliferation, p53 and bcl-2 expression in clinically localized prostate cancers of black and white American men to learn whether these features showed racial differences ("Racial Differences in Clinically Localized Prostate Cancers of Black and White Men," Journal of Urology, June 1998;159(6):1979-1983).
