New Method Now Monitors Blood Dendritic Cell Numbers

A new method has been devised to monitor patient blood dendritic cell (DC) numbers.

D.N.J. Hart, representing colleagues from the Christchurch Hospital, Christchurch, New Zealand, explained the process at the 34th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, held May 16-19, 1998, in Los Angeles, California (abstract "Development of a Method for Monitoring Blood Dendritic Cell Numbers: Comparison of Normal Individuals and Patients Undergoing Stem Cell Mobilization").
