"Adverse Reactions to Iodinated Contrast Media in Patients Treated with Interleukin-2."

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 84th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, held November 29 - December 4, 1998, in Chicago, Illinois, "Purpose: The purpose of this study is to report the increased incidence of adverse reactions to iodinated contrast media (ICM) in patients treated with systemic interleukin-2 (IL-2). IL-2 is a potent modulator of immune response that has been reported to induce tumor regression in cancer patients and may induce sensitization to radiological contrast media.
