Src Kinase Inhibitor Restricts Leukemic Cell Growth

A study suggests that Src kinase inhibitors should enter multidrug regimens against myeloid leukemia.

V. Roginskaya and colleagues from the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, investigated therapeutic targeting of Src-kinase Lyn in myeloid leukemic cell growth. Their study results were published in the journal Leukemia ("Therapeutic Targeting of Src-Kinase Lyn in Myeloid Leukemic Cell Growth," Leukemia, June 1999;13(6):855-861).
